In 2012 — early 2013 Japan’s political situation remained unstable. The Democratic Party, which came to power in late 2009, had not been able to fulfill its campaign promises and, as a result, suffered a defeat in the parliamentary elections in December 2012. The returned to power Liberal Democratic Party also faces a number of serious domestic and foreign policy challenges. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is going to pull the economy out of stagnation and exercise rigid external policy, including the resolution of territorial disputes with neighbouring countries.

L. Smirnova.Anti-Corruption Strategy in Chinain the Light of the XVIII Congress of the CPC
The XVIIICongress of the Communist Party of China (November, 2012) brought the issue of corruption in the PRC on the ideological level. The article suggests the hypothesis that the primary goal of fighting corruption in China is the preserving the power monopoly in the country in CPC hands. Analyzing the methods of combating corruption in the PRC, the author reveals evidence of this fact.

The thorough study of the experience of leading industrially developed countries in realm of creating favorable investment climate made Chinese leadership realize that developed international economic system was much far from perfection and needed deep reformation, since only a few post industrial nations received the most economic benefits while plural developing countries were forced to be satisfied by the role of “be leaded”.

L. Zakharova.Foreign Economic Relations of DPRK in XXICentury and Prospects of Their Development under Kim Jong-un.
The article analyzes data on foreign economic relations of North Korea in the 2000s. The author examines the main trends of trade and investment cooperation between DPRK and its key partners, particularly China, the Republic of Korea and Russia. The conclusions about the prospects of foreign economic cooperation with North Korea under new leader were made.

Do Mihn Kao.«Energy Diplomacy» of China and Its Influence in Neighbouring Regions
«Energy diplomacy» is one of the Chinese strategies to secure energy resources for rapidly developing China’s industry. Along with its obvious successes the author analyzes the problems of security generated by it in the regions neighbouring to China.

On the basis of archival materials the article reveals changes in the real position of the DPRK against the South and the reunification of the country. The position of the USSR at that time in matters of Korean unification was also analyzed.

V. Grinyuk.Korean Diaspora in Japan after World War II (1945–1960)
Korean diaspora in Japan has developed as a result of Japan’s colonial rule in Korea. With intensified «cold war» and the formation of the DPRK and the ROK in 1948 Korean diaspora in Japan split into orienting the North Korea the League of Koreans Living in Japan («Tesen soren») and tending to the ROC Corporation of Residents in Japan. The Korean War deepened the rift in Korean community living in Japan. In 1959 with the active assistance of «Tesen soren» a massive repatriation of Koreans from Japan to North Korea had been started.

The philosophy of engineering is one of the leading branches of philosophical knowledge today. It reflects the current trend of applying philosophy to practice. Periods of its origin, formation and development, key figures and trends, the most significant scientific results and prospects of this research direction are also marked.

Christmas pictures “nianhua” is a part of the intangible cultural heritage of China. Folk artists are an important part of that heritage because they play a significant role in its preservation. The article reveals the content of the «National Memory Project — Chinese “Nianhua”.
